Comments Broke
If anyone took the time to try to comment on posts since I changed themes, I know it’s not working now. I’m contacting the systems admin dude and finding out if there’s a way to fix it. Until then I’ll be switching to another theme as soon as I find one that will work with the two sidebars that isn’t really ugly.
Sorry.
UPDATE: As you can see in the comments below they now work, and I’ve switched to a theme that isn’t quite as nice looking, but has all the features of the theme I picked yesterday, plus one more: comments work.
Thanks for your patience. If the system admin can get another version of the Royale theme that has a comments form that works I’ll switch back. Until then you get this one.
ok. This one works–but I don’t like it. No header. Still looking.
ok. This one is definitely better. It has 3 sidebar widgets, which I like, but it puts all my pages in the links on top (the other let me pick which one), and I don’t like the colords as much or the date format for the post. But the comments work and it’s tolerable until a possible upgrade of the other theme comes out. Of course there’s alos that the theme name is in the headerbar instead of the blog name, so you’ll know how old this comment is.
OK. I found a theme now that has the same features as the one I liked and isn’t totally ugly and the comments work. I’ll stay with this one for now.
I actually rather like this theme- it’s easy to read, the comments work and the flames are rather spiffy. What’s not to like?
I really like the flames.
Theresa has me convinced that this one is just fine, and the final positive is that on my profile page it doesn’t wrap around the picture and make the last line of text look dumb.
So I’ll be keeping this one for while I think. Thanks for the input!
