The Dishwasher Saga: FINALE!

On Thursday, once again, an installer visited our home and this time he left us with this:
That’s right–our new dishwasher is here, and has been happily washing dishes for OVER 40 hours now.
We are very excited to be eating on china again–not paper or styrofoam. Raquel and TC will no longer be spending a significant portion of their days washing glasses and pots, but can return to knitting, crocheting, purchasing and wrapping Christmas presents (and folding laundry and cooking and ….).
The new dishwasher is much cooler than the last. Look at this:

And it has a hard food disposal system so if we don’t scrape the plates, no problem. No more drains to clean out! AND – hidden controls to prevent the frequent “toddler caused rewash because it didn’t work right because Margary pushed a button again” syndrome that has been less than infrequent around here (at least until the other dishwasher broke).
We are very excited about it. So excited that I won’t even make fun of the fact that I have two Kenmore Fridges, but my DISHWASHER is a FRIGIDAIRE. Oh wait…
