Garage Graffiti, Part II

Published by James at 9:09 pm under Family News, Peoria, University East Neighborhood

Today Theresa and the kids painted over the graffiti (see previous post for picture). Seeing as how we live on Orange St., we chose orange for the base color this time.

Theresa said today that she’d actually be disappointed if nobody tagged our garage again, as she’s kind of enjoying the potential creative outlet of doing our own garage. I’m not sure if she’s crazy or just joyful–but I love her either way.

Here’s a picture of the victorious orange-washers:

Victorious Painters!

And one of my wife putting on the finishing touch: our house number.

Wife on Ladder

Vandals, beware! You cannot touch us–we are armed with weapons of our warfare of which you do not know. May this orange wall be a reminder to us of the shield of faith which deflects the flaming darts of the evil one!

To be continued . . .

Cute? Cute!? I actually yelled at Theresa over IM for being up on that ladder. She is I don’t remember how far along and she is up on a ladder!? This is not cute. If you ever do such a thing, Adiel, I will be forced to yell at you too! Why am I the only one walking around yelling at pregnant women? (mumble, grumble, grumble)

mmhhmmhhmm…did you hear someone ranting? Oh, I thought not. Anyway, Adiel, since I felt as ungraceful as a whale trying to fly, I’m happy to own the designation ‘cute’.

The name of the color is ‘Orange Taffy’. Arresting, isn’t it? :-) I can’t wait til my graffiti tips come for the spray paint cans. I plan on redoing the number with more pizzazz.

Oh, and Gabrielle, the sidebar has a baby ticker that will tell you EXACTLY how far along she is. :)

I love the color! Makes me wish I had a garage so I could paint it such a wonderful hue.
